CAFA opens annual art exhibit; features creativity on 78th foundation kickoff
Highlighting the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA)’s commitment to fostering artistic expression and developing future architects and artists, the Enverga University opened its annual art exhibit, featuring student works across various mediums, as part of its 78th foundation anniversary celebration.
Ar. Jennifer Sanchez, CAFA dean, emphasized the role of the art exhibit in student development.
“This exhibit reflects the dedication and talent of our students. It serves as a platform for them to express their ideas and showcase their technical skills,” Ar. Sanchez said.
For the students, the exhibit was an opportunity to share their work with a wider audience. One architecture student reflected on the experience.
“Seeing my work displayed gives me confidence in my skills. It reminds me why I chose this field," the student shared.
Dr. Amelita Balagtas, assistant to the chairman and coordinator for affiliate schools, and Dr. Rosario Villamater, former director of the University Libraries, joined the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Ar. Jennifer Sanchez, CAFA dean, and Prof. Melba Sardea, faculty member, in support of the students' creative efforts.
