Kappa Sigma Beta Fraternity, Kappa Delta Omega Sorority donate P60K to support scholars
To give back to their alma mater, the Kappa Sigma Beta Fraternity and Kappa Delta Omega Sorority donated PHP 60,000.00 to the University’s Scholarship Program as part of their 62nd Founding Anniversary Grand Reunion, held at Dr. Tobias Y. Enverga Sr. Alumni Center, May 25.
The grand reunion of the Kappa Sigma Beta and Kappa Delta Omega alumni commenced with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Melbert Deauna. In his homily, he emphasized the anniversary theme, "Rekindling the Brotherhood and Sisterhood."
A business meeting was followed, chaired by Mr. Estelito M. Mendoza, overall chairperson of the grand reunion focused on revitalizing their slogans: “Men on Top” for KSB and “Excellence in All Business Activities” for KDO.
Mr. Leopoldo Pinera, vice-chairperson of the grand reunion, outlined strategic plans, including re-accrediting both organizations on campus, holding regular alumni meetings, sponsoring learning sessions for alumni, and organizing a pilgrimage to the Holy Land as part of the organizations’ rekindling activities.
Office of Scholarships & Endowment, Job Placement and Alumni Relations (OSEJPAR) Director Maria Isabel D. Granada updated attendees on the University’s development programs and emphasized that alumni support and engagements are crucial strategies for achieving MSEUF’s goals, particularly in the area of internationalization.
The reunion concluded with a campus tour and a fellowship gathering at Casa Segunda of the university.

- Quality Education (SDG 4): The donation aims to support the university’s scholarship program, enhancing access to quality education for students.

- Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17): The collaboration between fraternity, sorority, and the university demonstrates a strong partnership aimed at achieving shared educational and developmental goals.
