CAS defends championship title in Efren Micor Online Academic Contest
The College of Arts and Sciences academic team emerged victorious, securing a back-to-back championship once again in the Efren Micor Academic Online Quiz, amassing 34 points, during the 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration matchups at the University Gymnasium, Feb. 14.
Following closely behind, the College of Education claimed second place with 31 points, while the College of Business and Accountancy secured third place with 29 points.
The CAS academic team composed of Darrel Andal, Jinn Kahlil Rodas, Mark Conrad De Ocampo, Dino Obon, and Dawn Ornillo showed dominance, particularly after the science category, where they rushed ahead with an additional four points
The Efren Micor Academic Online Quiz Contests' quizmasters were faculty members Dexter Villamin and Jose Amorado. Contest arbiters were Dr. Maria Azela Tamayo, Engr. Evangeline Constantino, and Dr. Pedro Jose de Castro.
The event drew spectators eager to witness the intense intellectual showdown among the academic departments.
