Enverga U subscribes to 500Mbps backup in addition to 1000Mbps bandwidth internet

As part of its investment in technological infrastructure, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) through the Information and Communications Technology Department (ICTD) subscribed to an additional StarFiber 500Mbps bandwidth internet connection, provided by Rising Star Cable TV Corporation.

The additional 500Mbps is a ‘dedicated internet access’ or ‘leased line’ that will serve as backup internet connection, in addition to the existing internet connection with 1000Mbps bandwidth ‘dedicated’ service provided by the Asian Vision Cable Holdings, Inc. 

The backup connection is effective Feb. 1.

According to Dr. Jose Tan Jr., ICTD director, continuous upgrade is implemented  in the University infrastructure for the benefit of students, faculty, and employees.

“These upgrades are strategically designed to bring tangible benefits to our valued  students, faculty, and employees . In our University, we view such investments as integral to fostering a conducive and progressive environment for all members of our academic community.” Dr. Tan shared.

“Certainly, continuous improvement is what we always do. We not only enhance the curriculum and elevate the skills and knowledge of our faculty and employees, but we also make strides in infrastructure like technological advancements, as exemplified by this particular upgrade,” Dr. Tan added.
