Envergans among top 10 teams in Deloitte Tax Challenge 2023

Accountancy and Management Accounting students from the College of Business and Accountancy secured a spot among the top 10 teams in the 2023 Deloitte Tax Challenge (DTC), November 2023.

Named ‘Team Deloisional,’ the group of  Louise Justine Abrigo, Adrian Vincent Bellen, John Aginore De Los Santos, and Genre Miguel Gabatan outshined other 37 teams from leading  universities across the country.

Dr. Flormando Baldovino, CBA dean, expressed the joy he felt for this feat.

“What can I say? Except that we consistently shine as one of the best! Our university is undeniably making a mark and becoming widely recognized in competitions like this.” Dr. Baldovino exclaimed.

“This success serves as a testament to the exceptional training our students undergo, highlighting that learning and excellence extend far beyond the classroom at Enverga University. It showcases our commitment to providing a holistic and enriching educational experience that prepares students for achievements beyond academic boundaries,” Dr. Baldovino added.

The DTC 2023 offers participants real-world experience, exposing them to concepts such as mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, transfer pricing, incentives and initiatives, and a wide spectrum of contemporary tax issues faced by actual governments and corporations.
