    CEd-CES, student orgs join forces for Brigada Eskwela '25

    The College of Education – Community Extension Services (CEd-CES), in partnership with student organizations, took part in “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” to assist in classroom preparations and donate school supplies and cleaning materials at BLISS Elementary School, Gulang-Gulang National High School, and Elvira Razon Aranilla Elementary School, June 10. Participating student organizations included AGHAM, CMAS, TMC, PICE, CEE, MathSoc, Kamfilan, MCGI BREAD Society, NMSF, Lib.com, and SCAPE. CES President Canlas shared, “Through this Brigada, we are given the opportunity to share what we have with others. I hope to instill the value of volunteerism and unity by showing how each of us can be part of a meaningful impact on an individual. Giving our time and effort, even the smallest acts of kindness and a willing heart, can strengthen the community.” Brigada Eskwela is a national initiative by the Department of Education that encourages stakeholders to help public schools prepare for the opening of classes. The continued involvement of CES reflects its commitment to building a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among future educators.
