Enverga University welcomes historian Ambeth Ocampo for exclusive book signing
During an exclusive book at the ground floor of Casa Segunda Museum, a Historian, author, and educator Dr. Ambeth Ocampo met with the Enverga community ahead of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s 79th Commencement Exercises, July 1.
Held in partnership with Anvil Publishing Inc., the event gave attendees the opportunity to have their books personally signed by Dr. Ocampo and engage with one of the country’s recognized voices in Philippine history and culture.
Dr. Ocampo has held various leadership roles in public service and the academe, including serving as chairman of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. He also served as president of the City College of Manila, president of the Philippine Historical Association, and co-chair of the Manila Historical and Heritage Commission.
The gathering was attended by Enverga University Chairman and CEO Wilfrido Enverga and President and COO Naila Leveriza, whose presence highlighted the significance of the occasion and the University’s commitment to meaningful cultural and educational engagements.
The book signing served as a prelude to the 79th Commencement Exercises, where Dr. Ocampo was invited to deliver the commencement address to the graduating class later that afternoon. The activity provided graduates and members of the academic community an opportunity to connect with a distinguished historian whose work has contributed to public understanding of Philippine history.
