MSEUF celebrates National Arts Month with cultural performances

Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) celebrated National Arts Month with performances from its institutional cultural groups, highlighting Filipino artistry and heritage, Feb. 28.
The MSEUF Chamberwinds, led by trainer-conductor Erwin Rolle, the MSEUF Concert Singers, directed by choir master Hubert Loresto with accompanist Esperanza Maribao and adviser Ma. Isabel Granada, and the Banyuhay Dance Troupe, under the guidance of advisers Keyvin Amo and Liezl Villadiego, showcased musical and dance presentations.
The Office of Sports and Cultural Relations, headed by Director Darios Virrey, and the Office of the Vice President for External Relations, led by Vice President Celso Jaballa, facilitated the event as part of the university’s commitment to promoting cultural excellence.
“Presidential Proclamation No. 683, issued by then-President Corazon Aquino in 1991, declared February as National Arts Month to honor the invaluable contributions of Filipino artists. At MSEUF, we celebrate this by fostering and showcasing the talents of our cultural groups,” Virrey said.
Jaballa commended the performers for their dedication and artistry.
“Our cultural groups continue to uphold the university’s tradition of excellence in the arts. Their performances not only entertain but also inspire appreciation for Filipino culture,” VP Jaballa said.
The celebration reinforced MSEUF’s commitment to nurturing artistic expression and cultural awareness among students.
