MSEUF GSD hosts technical training on construction painting, chemical solutions


The General Services Department (GSD) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) conducted a technical training and seminar on the latest construction painting technologies and chemical solutions at the University Library Seminar Hall, Jan. 31.

The training, organized in collaboration with Davies Paints Philippines Inc. and Buildrite Construction Chemicals, aimed to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of GSD personnel in modern construction practices.

Experts from Davies Paints Philippines Inc. discussed standard procedures for painting applications and innovations in painting technology. Meanwhile, representatives from Buildrite Construction Chemicals covered essential topics such as concrete solutions, waterproofing technologies, sealants and adhesives, painting solutions, tiling solutions, protective coatings, and finishing solutions.

Engr. Marlou Quincena, GSD project engineer and activity chairperson, highlighted the significance of continuous training in maintaining the University’s infrastructure.

“Keeping our team updated with the latest advancements in construction technology ensures that we apply industry best practices in maintaining and improving our facilities,” Engr. Quincena said.

MSEUF expressed appreciation for the expertise shared by Davies Paints Philippines Inc. and Buildrite Construction Chemicals, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in infrastructure development.

“This seminar not only strengthens our technical skills but also fosters efficiency and sustainability in our construction and maintenance projects,” Quincena added.
