Enverga University gears up with new degree programs
The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation –College of Computer Studies (CCS) and College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS) add new programs on their list of academic offerings. These programs are the Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BS EMC) and the Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (BS MedTech), offered effective 1st Semester, Academic Year 2015-2016.
Based on CHED Memo Order No. 02 Series of 2014, the Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Computing program enables the student to be knowledgeable of the whole pipeline of Game Development and Digital Animation projects. The students will acquire the independence and creative competencies to articulate project design and requirement of new projects, not necessarily based on standard templates.
Furthermore, based on the CHED Memo Order No. 14, Series of 2006, the Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology program aims to develop a foundation in the fundamentals of medical laboratory science and to make it responsive to the demands for manpower in the paramedic service utilizing the highly innovative technologies. It consists of clinical laboratory testing which plays a crucial role in the detection, diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and treatment of diseases such that medical technologist and medical laboratory scientists must have a combination of education, clinical laboratory internship and specialized training.
The MSEUF College of Computer Studies is CHED Center of Development in Information Technology. Programs offered under CCS and CNAHS are also accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).
