Over the years, the university has thrived into lasting institutional priorities channelled to the spur of commendable successes. From its humble beginning, the counting of years has cracked down the educational barriers and has drawn a path across the national boundaries. With the immense educational challenges that came, the university has magnified its strengths to cater to the demands of national concerns.
Through the MSEUF’s continuous improvement and it’s unceasing to uphold excellence, the University dubbed as one of the outstanding schools in the country as it is evident through the milestones that the University accomplished.

Founding of the Luzonian Colleges
February 11, 1947
Granting of the charter of Luzonian Colleges by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); approval of the government permit by the Bureau of Private Schools to the Luzonian Colleges to open classes in April 1947

Graduation of President Manuel S. Enverga from the University of Santo Tomas with the degree of Master of Laws, meritissimus; acceptance of President Manuel S. Enverga of a scholarship award for the Doctor of Civil Law at the Universidad Central de Madrid from UST’s Father Aniceto Castanon

Departure of Dr. Manuel S. Enverga for his doctoral studies in Madrid; appointment of Tobias Y. Enverga as executive officer and dean of colleges

Observation tour of the great universities in Europe and Asia of Dr. Manuel S. Enverga after graduating sobresaliente from the Doctor of Laws at the Universidad Central de Madrid; meeting of Dr. Manuel S. Villariba at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Jose M. Eleazar at Fordham University; sending of next wave of scholars in global seats of learning for post-graduate studies – Atty. Wilfrido L. Enverga to the London School of Economics, Dulcinea C. Enverga to the Instituto de Cultura Hispanica of Madrid, Jaime M. Buzar, Porfirio A. Quisao and Fabian V. Obispo Jr. to the University of the Philippines, Romulo F. Magsino to the Sydney University, and Jovito E. Talabong to the University of Santo Tomas.

Election of President Manuel S. Enverga to Congress as representative of the First Congressional District of Quezon, a seat he would hold for 16 years (1953-1969); chairing of the Committee on Education and Foreign Affairs where his political achievements boosted the image of the Luzonian Colleges

Acquisition of 200 hectares of land in Ibabang Dupay that jumpstarted the development of the University Site
June 1959
Construction of the gymnasium, the Commerce-Technology Building, the Arts- and Sciences-Education Building from a P4 M-loan from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS)

Establishment of the Manuel S. Enverga Foundation to complement the university that gave scholarships, book stipends and financial subsidies to outstanding high school students in the province.

Signing of Education Secretary Onofre D. Corpuz of the document that granted university status to the Luzonian University in the presence of President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Manuel S. Enverga, Trustees Tobias Y. Enverga, Aquilino L. Villanueva, Benjamin M. Campomanes, Francis L. Vicuña, and Diomedes R. Carlos.

Demise of Dr. Tobias Y. Enverga and the appointment of Rodolfo B. Abadilla as University President in March 1973 due to the uncertainty of the times occasioned by the martial law regime and the almost fatal heart attack of Chairman-President Manuel S. Enverga

Upgrading and reclassification of the faculty ranking system; awarding of professorial and dean emeritus status on Dr. Cesar A. Villariba

Dean Emeritus Cesar A. Villariba was elected to the Interim Batasan Pambansa. He was Vice-chairman of the committee on education and was a principal author of the education act of 1982 (B.P 232) and the Science and Technology Code of the Philippines. Under his leadership some 300 local high schools were nationalized.

Board Chairman Manuel S. Enverga passed away. Dr. Cesar A. Villariba was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Atty. Wilfrido L. Enverga succeeded him later on January 21, 1983. The board resolved the adoption of the name Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF).

The Quezon and Lucena City Education Congress was held with the MSEUF as the flagship institution.
February 18, 1984
The First General Faculty and Non-Academic Personnel Congress was held to hammer out directions for the next decade.
July 7, 1984
President Rodolfo B. Abadilla went into the great Home Beyond. Atty, Wilfrido L. Enverga assumed both the chairmanship and the presidency of the university.
September 1, 1984
Atty. Jose S. Laureles assumed the position of executive Vice President.
June, 1985
Atty. Jose S. Laureles was appointed president of the university.
May, 1987
Chairman Wilfrido L. Enverga, following the footsteps of his illustrious father, was elected to congress representing the first District of Quezon. He would serve Congress for three consecutive terms until 1998.
June 1989
The University under President Laureles initiated the beautification of the campus and the move to have all programs fully accredited. Faculty development was accelerated through the series of Academic Administrators Workshops. Morale of faculty and non-academic personnel was significantly boosted by the periodic and regular upgrading of ranks and salaries.
June 1990
Enverga University, Candelaria campus, opened after DECSRO IV granted its permit to operate through the efforts of the team led by Dr. Jaime M. Buzar, Benilda N. Villenas, Nelda C. Reyes, Norma R. Desembrana, Erlinda L. Micor and Amelia E. De los Reyes. Prof Felicitas N. Del Fierro was appointed Dean of Studies. Dr. Joselina T. Baylongo was appointed supervisor of all MSEUF Branches.
May 1996
The MSEUF Alumni Association started construction of the Alumni center under the presidency of Atty. Antonio P. Acyatan. The Alumni Association metamorphosed into an active partner in building the university under the inspired leadership of Atty. Acyatan.

The University community celebrates its golden anniversary.
August 13, 1998
Institute of Information Technology and Institute of Hotel and Restaurant Management were created as were separated from the College of Business and Accountancy and College of Arts and Sciences, respectively.

The Internet Access Center (IAC) of the University opens
April 11, 2000
Formally launched the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP)

Grant of Center of Development for Language and Literature to the College of Arts and Sciences

University offers 7 new academic programs Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing/Accountancy; BS Accountancy major in Information Technology; BS Office Administration; BS in Information Technology; BS in Information Management; BS Computer Engineering, and Doctor of Management.
