The Community Relations Department

MSEUF's Community Relations Department facilitates university-community collaboration, coordinating outreach and CES projects. Through effective communication, it enhances the university's connection with the community for mutual development.

The Community Relations Department is an office under the Vice President for External Relations that has the following functions:
  1. Acts as the general consultative body in the formulation of plans, directions and other ctivities for the community extension service of the university.
  2. Assists the Office of the Vice President for External Relations in the implementation and evaluation of the community extension service projects.
  3. Recommends improvement plans for the National Service Training Program.
  4. Meets once a month or when the need arises.

 

Quality Objectives of the Community Relations Department

Towards the fulfillment of the University’s mission-vision, the following are the specific quality objectives of the Community Relations Department:

  1. Increase by 10% the attendance of CES Chairperson in-off campus CES related conferences, training workshops and seminars every year for the next five years.
  2. Achieve a customer satisfaction rating higher than 3.5 in a scale of 1-5 every end of the semester every year for the next five years.
  3. Obtain a rating of at least 3.5 in a scale of 1-5 on the evaluation rating of CES activities of all academic and non-academic departments every year for the next five years.
  4. Achieve 60% submission of CES requirements (CES Portfolio) by CES Chairpersons every year for the next five years.
  5. Share University’s expertise to at least 5 communities through the CES every year in the next five years.
