Classification of CES Program

MSEUF engages in community extension service through campus-based and community-based projects, managed by faculty, students, or jointly. The focus is on greater community involvement, improved environmental conditions, and enhanced livelihood opportunities, aligning with diverse sub-objectives.

MSEUF at present conducts community extension service in the following manner.

According to the Nature of the Project
  1. Campus-based Projects (camp-based). These are projects that are course-related undertaken by students in client-partner communities as part of course requirements or field exposure. Since it is a course requirement activities are directly under the guidance and supervision of a faculty.
  2. Community-based projects (com-based). Projects under this classification follow the concept of “helping people help themselves,” “learning by doing,” and “teaching by example,” or “teaching through demonstration.”
