Dr. Carmina Villariba Tolentino is a member of the third generation of a family of educators. Her maternal grandparents are both educators who hailed from Atimonan, Quezon, and her parents, brother and sisters are also in the academe. Therefore being an educator runs in her blood that teaching becomes natural and second nature to her.
She earned the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in biological sciences at De La Salle University, Manila. Her passion for teaching and learning various disciplines in science has inspired her to study conservation and preservation of species and the health sciences. Her dedication to the search for the true definition of meaningful learning is manifested by her students through their reflections which guide her in enhancing her expertise in teaching.
Dr. Tolentino has presented papers in research conferences in Malaysia, Thailand, and the US as well as in various national research conferences. Her paper presentations in research conferences have enabled her to share these experiences to her students. Fondly called Dr. Mina by her colleagues, she believes that exposing students to foreign cultures gives them the edge in their learning experiences. Assisting students in their applications and getting them into international exchange programs is one of her memorable contributions in the University. At present, she is taking actions on updating and enhancing all university laboratories which are important learning facilities.

Sir Leo A. Untalan is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Computer Education at the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation. Currently, Sir Leo is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Information Technology at Batangas State University to upgrade and enhance his skills and abilities as a teacher and as an IT enthusiast.
Master Teacher II of the Basic Education Department of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, teaching Computer education and TLE subjects, Sir Leo is a regional trainer for Grade 7 TLE and a lecturer and speaker in various seminars and trainings related to IT education and computer development.
Aside from teaching, Sir Leo also serves as adviser of the Supreme Student Government of the high school level and helps student leaders in retooling and enriching their values, attitudes and skills. He also initiated the formation of the Computer Education Society of the Basic Education Department which provides a place for IT inclined students who are always looking for innovations in technology.
Sir Leo believes that learning has no ceiling or boundaries. He never stops learning and he believes that through teaching he can make a difference and contribute to the holistic development of an individual. It is always a humbling experience for him to see the good changes he makes in the lives of his students. After all, it is a proof of his being an excellent teacher.
