Enverga University presents 3 research at international conference in South Korea

Strengthening the University’s international research engagement in technology-enhanced education, faculty researchers from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation presented three research papers at the 2026 12th International Conference on Education and Training Technologies held at Seoul, South Korea,  May 22-24.

Dexter Villamin of the College of Education presented A Technology-Enhanced Instructional Design Framework for Demo-Lecture Preparation in Mathematics Education: An Exploratory Study under the session Technology-Empowered Education Innovation and Assessment. John Rover Sinag and Lhance Angelo Abarra co-authored the study.

Engr. Marlou Quincena of the College of Engineering presented CAD Readiness in Practice: Linking Access and Connectivity to Learning Preparedness in CAD Coursework under the session Computational and Cognitive Approaches to Education, Language and Communication. Sinag co-authored the paper.

Sinag, from the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies, also presented Patterns of Generative AI Use in Student-Led Multimedia Learning: Evidence from a Philippine Private University under the session Learning Innovations: Technology and Humanities.

The conference followed a hybrid format, allowing researchers to present their studies online and participate in academic discussions with scholars from different institutions.

The Research Publication, Incubation and Utilization Center (RPIUC), headed by Director Engr. Roselyn Maaño, assisted the researchers in their participation in the international conference.

The three studies highlighted MSEUF’s commitment to research-based instruction, digital innovation and globally responsive education. The presentations also allowed the researchers to share Philippine perspectives on instructional design, CAD learning readiness, generative artificial intelligence and student-led multimedia learning.

The university’s participation in ICETT 2026 supported its continuing efforts to expand international academic visibility, promote interdisciplinary research and contribute to global conversations on education and training technologies.

The presentations aligned with Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s mission of advancing instruction, research and community service through responsive and globally competitive programs. They also reflected the core values of Excellence, Unity and Fortitude as faculty researchers pursued international scholarly engagement and contributed studies that support innovation in teaching and learning.
