Pamaskong Handog Year 2025 brings Christmas cheer to DepEd ALS learners

The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Institute of Graduate Studies and Research welcomed 30 adopted Department of Education Alternative Learning System students and other beneficiary groups for “Pamaskong Handog Year 2025,” a special gift-giving activity and mini Christmas party at the MSEUF St. Bonaventure Building, Dec. 10.

The program gathered adopted DepEd ALS learners and other beneficiaries to celebrate the Christmas season through simple acts of generosity, fellowship and community care. Participants received gift packages and joined a mini Christmas party that created a warm and meaningful space for sharing joy.

Through the activity, the IGSR strengthened its commitment to community extension service by supporting learners under the Alternative Learning System, a program that provides another path for individuals to continue their education. The event also highlighted the importance of extending care to learners and communities through inclusive, people-centered initiatives.

“Pamaskong Handog Year 2025” served as an opportunity for MSEUF to recognize the hopes, efforts and continuing learning journey of ALS students. By welcoming them to the university community, the program encouraged belonging and reminded the learners that their pursuit of education remains valued and supported.

The activity also brought together other beneficiary groups, making the celebration more inclusive and community-oriented. Through the shared gathering, IGSR helped create a Christmas experience centered on kindness, dignity and meaningful connection.

Through “Pamaskong Handog Year 2025,” MSEUF IGSR continued to show how community extension can support education, uplift learners and build stronger partnerships with communities, especially during a season marked by generosity and hope.
