Envergans showed their writing prowess in this year's Tobias Enverga Essay Writing Contest, Pagsulat ng Sanaysay at Tula during the 77th Founding Anniversary Celebration of the University, Feb. 14, at the MSEUF Library Seminar Hall.

In the English essay category, College of Education’s Arielle Lucille Gayeta won first place with her piece “A Melody of Unity,” College of Business and Accountancy’s Austin Howard Mauzar, second place, and College of Arts and Sciences’ Kylie Alvasan, third place.

For the Pagsulat ng Sanaysay (Essay Writing in Filipino) category, Gladyrine Mae Abella of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts emerged victorious with her essay “MSEUF: Alab ng Kabatiran, Humahakbang, Yaman ng ASEAN,“ with Jana Platino from the College of Business and Accountancy and Keith Aldrei Razon from the College of Engineering taking the second and third places, respectively.

In the Pagsulat ng Tula (Poetry Writing in Filipino) category, Aendera Gwyneth Briones from the College of Engineering clinched the first-place position with her poetry piece “Landas ng Sumisiklab na Ibon ng Apoy.”  Josh Emmanuel Macalla from the College of Education secured the second place, while Hans Christine Tibayan from the College of Criminal Justice and Criminology claimed the third place.

The Tobias Enverga Writing Contests not only highlighted the literary talents of Enverga University students but also provided them with a platform to express their thoughts, emotions, and creativity through the written word.
