LDC coordinators trained on Power BI to strengthen learner profiling, targeted support
Learning Development Center (LDC) Coordinators convened at Studio 103 of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) for a pocket lecture focused on Power BI, led by ASst. Prof. Cheeky Rose Villamarzo, Dec. 12.
The specialized session was designed to empower coordinators with the skills to create comprehensive learner profiles for each academic college. These profiles will serve as a data-driven foundation for designing more responsive and targeted learning interventions that address the unique needs of Envergan students.
During the session, Ma’am Villamarzo demonstrated how Power BI can be used to collect, analyze, and visualize key academic indicators. With real-time dashboards and interactive reports, coordinators were introduced to powerful tools for identifying learning trends and academic challenges—enabling them to make informed decisions in support of student achievement.
“This training is more than just a tech update—it’s part of our broader commitment to improve how we understand and respond to the needs of our learners,” said one of the attending coordinators.
By integrating Power BI into the university’s learner development strategy, MSEUF continues to lead in adopting technology for academic excellence. The workshop also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting innovative solutions that enhance access to inclusive and equitable learning support.
The lecture received positive feedback from participants, many of whom expressed eagerness to apply their new knowledge and contribute more effectively to student success within their respective colleges
