CEng, CME students learn 'effective study techniques' from student peer
To equip students with effective learning strategies tailored to the rigorous demands of their academic programs, students from the College of Engineering (CEng) and the College of Maritime Education (CME) participated in an insightful session on Study Techniques, led by Lainuz Luigi Libiran, an outstanding student from the College of Engineerin, Mar. 7.
Libiran shared his personal study methods, emphasizing the importance of structured time management, problem-solving approaches, and active learning techniques in mastering complex subjects. He introduced strategies such as concept mapping, practice-based learning, and collaborative study sessions, which have helped him excel in his engineering coursework.
Students engaged in interactive discussions, exchanging their own study habits and exploring new techniques to improve comprehension and retention. Many attendees expressed appreciation for the session, noting that Libiran’s firsthand experiences provided practical and relatable guidance.
University officials commended the initiative, highlighting its role in fostering academic excellence and preparing students for future professional challenges. By adopting effective study techniques, CEng and CME students can enhance their learning efficiency and develop skills essential for success in their respective fields.
MSEUF continues to support student-centered learning experiences, ensuring that its graduates are well-equipped with the knowledge and strategies needed to thrive in their academic and professional journeys.
