CED, LDC, CEE launches research capability building initiative
The College of Education (CED) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, in collaboration with the Learning Development Center (LDC), conducted a seminar on research literature review and data analysis at the EMRC Main, Nov. 12
The Council of English Enthusiasts (CEE) organized the event under the guidance of Dexter Villamin with support from Razelle Lacson, Learning Development Center coordinator for the College of Education. The seminar targeted third-year education students preparing their undergraduate theses.
Speakers discussed strategies for navigating scholarly literature and applying appropriate data analysis techniques. The session provided tools and frameworks to guide students in strengthening the quality of their research projects.
“This activity supports our students as they build the research skills needed for their thesis work,” Lacson said.
“We want them to approach the process with clarity and confidence so they can complete their requirements effectively.” Lacson added.
The college said the initiative aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening research-based learning, 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by encouraging evidence-based approaches in education, and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering collaboration among student organizations, faculty, and institutional offices.
