RPIUC empowers academic departments with micro-training series on research publication

Engr. Roselyn Maaño, director of the Research Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center (RPIUC) introduces a collaborative program for professional development of the University’s academic departments to equip research mentors and researchers with skills and essential tools for academic publishing.

The micro training series, launched on Nov. 24, with mentors Dr. Ronaldo Maaño and Prof. Jahzeel  Sarmiento steered the kickoff.  Faculty members and researchers from the Colleges of Education, Criminal Justice and Criminology, Maritime Education, and Computing and Multimedia Studies participated in the inaugural session.

November 30 marked a transformative day for the Colleges of Engineering and Architecture and Fine Arts with Prof. Maria Cecilia Jalbuena leading the training sessions to emphasize the importance of collaboration in shaping the success of the Envergan mission and vision through research and publication.

The micro training series concluded Dec. 1 with the Colleges of Business and Accountancy, Criminal Justice and Criminology, Basic Education Department, and Office of Student Affairs and Services. Dr. Esteve Adrian Estiva and Dr. Ronaldo C. Maaño stressed that taking small steps can lead to giant leaps later.

This initiative underscores MSEUF's commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence and collaboration, ensuring that faculty members and researchers are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of academic publishing.
