MSEUF engages in international talent circulation discussions in Taiwan

MSEUF participated in the Taiwan–Philippines International Talent Circulation Base Workshop 2025 hosted by Kun Shan University in Tainan, Taiwan, bringing together academic leaders from both countries to strengthen higher education collaboration.

Representing the Philippines alongside delegates from 13 other universities, MSEUF contributed to discussions by presenting proposals and raising key recommendations to advance future cooperation between Taiwanese and Philippine institutions.

Workshop discussions focused on the continued promotion of the INTENSE Program, the expansion of free Mandarin language courses, and the exploration of potential dual-degree programs. Participants highlighted shared commitments to internationalization, talent development, and academic mobility as priorities for long-term collaboration.

The workshop was conducted on Day 3 of the Taiwan Mandarin Education and Cultural Immersion Program and concluded with a closing ceremony on Dec. 11, marking another milestone in strengthening Taiwan–Philippines higher education partnerships.

Filipino delegates represented institutions including Bukidnon State University, Caraga State University, Cavite State University, Eastern Visayas State University, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Rizal Technological University, Saint Louis University, Technological University of the Philippines, University of the Cordilleras, University of the Philippines Los Baños, and MSEUF.

Also present were Kun Shan University and INTENSE Program officials, including Project Manager Po Chieh Hong; International and Cross-Strait Affairs Dean Bill Chung; INTENSE Program Office CEO Mike Chu; Chief Tiffany Yeh; Deputy CEO Louie Li; Program Assistant Vincent Hung; General Manager Joy Fojas; and Assistant Jonah Ponce.


The engagement reflects the University’s commitment to Excellence and Service by strengthening international academic linkages that expand learning opportunities for students and faculty. It also demonstrates Unity and Fortitude as MSEUF actively contributes to regional cooperation and global talent development through strategic partnerships.
