Enverga University strengthens global engagement; joins Taiwan cultural, language immersion program

MSEUF joined the 2025 Taiwan Mandarin Education and Cultural Immersion Workshop, with Global Engagement Office Director Dr. Jennifer Reyes representing the University in the four-day program organized by the Taiwan Ministry of Education.

Dr. Reyes is part of a 14-member Philippine delegation composed of representatives from various universities nationwide.

The workshop, held in partnership with the INTENSE Program in Taiwan and the Philippines, aims to strengthen cultural exchange, advance Mandarin language learning, and foster academic collaboration between the two countries.

The INTENSE Program is an MOE-supported initiative designed to invite international students to pursue degree programs in Taiwan for up to two years and gain work experience with partner companies.

The workshop officially opened with a ceremony at the 10th floor of the Kun Shan University Library Center, where the delegation received a warm welcome from Kun Shan University President Tien Shang Lee and International and Cross-Strait Affairs Dean Bill Chung.

Also present were department heads from the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering disciplines and INTENSE Program Office CEO Mike Chu.

Dr. Reyes’ participation underscores MSEUF’s commitment to building meaningful international partnerships and expanding global learning opportunities for its academic community.

The engagement reflects the University’s commitment to Excellence and Service by investing in global education pathways that enhance intercultural competencies and academic collaboration. It highlights Unity and Fortitude as MSEUF strengthens partnerships that expand transformative and student-centered international experiences.
