MSEUF joins QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026

Marking another milestone in its pursuit of global competitiveness, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation formally received its physical certificate recognizing its overall 3-Star QS Stars rating during the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026, held Nov. 3-5 at the Bali International Convention Centre in Bali, Indonesia.

Assoc. Prof. Rodrigo Belleza Jr., dean of the College of Computing and Multimedia Studies and a member of the University’s QS Stars Rating Committee, represented MSEUF at the three-day international gathering and formally received the certificate on behalf of the University.

QS Stars is an institutional rating system that evaluates universities across areas of performance and awards an overall rating ranging from one to five-plus stars. QS describes a three-star-rated institution as one that delivers quality teaching, prepares employable graduates and is progressing toward international education standards.

Dean Belleza’s participation coincided with the summit’s QS Stars recognition activities. QS lists the Asia Pacific summit among its 2026 venues for QS Stars awards ceremonies and in-person community events.

Carrying the theme “Advancing Education for Purpose and Impact,” the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026 gathered more than 1,000 leaders from universities, industry and government to discuss the evolving role of higher education in the region. The summit highlighted internationalization, workforce readiness, cross-border collaboration and the role of education in creating meaningful societal impact.

Beyond the formal recognition, Dean Belleza’s participation provided MSEUF with opportunities to engage with higher education leaders and gain insights into international trends, quality assurance, institutional performance and strategies that can contribute to the University’s continuing development.

The formal receipt of the QS Stars certificate reinforces MSEUF’s continuing efforts in quality assurance, international recognition and institutional improvement as it advances its vision of becoming a globally competitive university.

The participation supported MSEUF’s vision of becoming a globally competitive university by strengthening its exposure to international higher education trends, institutional benchmarking and global academic networks. It also complemented the University’s continuing efforts toward 2030 through quality assurance, international recognition and excellence in teaching.

  • SDG 4: Quality Education — Participation in the summit supported institutional learning and engagement with practices and discussions aimed at strengthening the quality and relevance of higher education.
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals — The international gathering provided opportunities for engagement and knowledge exchange among universities, government and industry representatives across the Asia Pacific region.
