HRD hosts ICT learning series; MSEUF faculty explore AI and OKRs in teaching and learning

The Human Resource Department, through the Committee on Design, Development, and Delivery (3D) of the Faculty Development Program, hosted the ICT Learning Series: “Transforming Education: Leveraging AI and OKRs for Teacher Empowerment” at the CCMS Laboratory Room 3, Mar. 21

The workshop gathered 20 faculty members from various colleges to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in enhancing teaching strategies and professional development.

Ernesto "Boogie" Boydon, creator of The Davidic Growth Paradigm, led the session, providing insights into AI integration in education and the impact of OKRs on faculty growth and performance.

Boydon encouraged faculty members to embrace AI as a tool for innovation. "Technology should not replace educators; rather, it should amplify their ability to engage students and enhance learning outcomes," he said.

Ms. Cheeky Rose A. Villamarzo, the subject matter expert for Information and Communications Technology helped in facilitating the event.

Villamarzo also highlighted the importance of equipping faculty with digital skills. "This workshop is a step forward in ensuring that our educators are not only familiar with AI but are also empowered to use it effectively in their classrooms," she stated.

This initiative aligns with Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation’s mission to deliver quality education, foster innovation, and equip educators with industry-relevant skills. By embracing AI-driven teaching methodologies and structured performance frameworks, the university continues to strengthen its commitment to transformative education.
