HRD holds talent discovery event to recruit future Envergan faculty, staff

Human Resource Department of (HRD) of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a one-day recruitment event titled HRD Talent Discovery 2025: From Potential to Professional on at the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) Exhibit Hall, May 2.

The event aimed to introduce job seekers and aspiring educators to career opportunities at the University for Academic Year 2025–2026. Participants took part in assessments, job matching, on-site screenings, and interviews.

“We designed this event to help participants engage with our recruitment process directly, with opportunities for them to be assessed and interviewed on the same day,” HRD Director Dr. Maria Sylvia Avila said.

Applicants also received information about the University’s values, culture, and expectations, which emphasized the importance of aligning with the University’s mission to produce graduates who are competent, ethical, and socially responsible.

“We are looking for professionals who are committed to academic excellence and who can contribute to our vision of becoming a globally competitive university,” Dr. Avila said. 

 


  • The recruitment highlighted open teaching positions in all colleges. The university encouraged applications from professionals with a Master’s degree or valid professional license, in line with its commitment to quality instruction, research, and community engagement.
  • The event aligned with the university’s core values of excellence, service, and unity, while also supporting the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
    • SDG 5: Gender Equality – by ensuring inclusive and equitable recruitment practices
    • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – by promoting career growth through stable employment
