Faculty, employees join MSEUF global-local leadership session

The Human Resource Department of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation conducted a leadership learning session Global Vision, Local Action Leadership Training for MSEUF Faculty and Employees at the Dr. Tobias Y. Enverga Sr. Alumni Center to strengthen leadership competencies through a global perspective, Jan. 30.

The activity formed part of the HR learning series on organizational management, personal and professional development, community engagement and global competitiveness.

Dr. Jennifer Reyes, subject matter expert for the Committee on Design, Development and Delivery of the Faculty and Employee Development Program, spearheaded the session, which gathered 82 faculty members and employees from the main campus and affiliate schools.

The training featured Engelbert Pasag, vice president for internationalization of Panpacific University, who shared insights on adaptive leadership, cross-cultural collaboration and strategic thinking in an increasingly interconnected environment.

Through the session, participants engaged in a shared learning experience that emphasized aligning global leadership principles with local institutional action.


The learning activity supported the University’s mission to develop competent and ethical professionals by investing in continuous faculty and employee development. It reflected the core values of Excellence, Mindfulness and Fortitude by preparing academic and nonteaching personnel to lead with global awareness while remaining responsive to local community needs.
