MSEUF’s Human Resource Department conducted a full-day Psychological First Aid training as part of its Leadership Development Program Learning Series, Nov. 12

The session, titled “Safe Minds, Safe Workspaces: Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training), gathered 39 department heads, deans, and staff to strengthen the University’s capacity to support mental health and promote a responsive work environment.

Dr. Romel De Guia, senior solutions and ideation partner of Formidea PH, facilitated the program and discussed approaches centered on empathy, early intervention, and effective communication. His sessions focused on equipping leaders with practical strategies for addressing workplace stress and providing immediate psychological support when needed.
