MSEUF Renews Registration with National Privacy Commission

Certificate of Registration
Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), through its Data Protection Office (DPO), has officially renewed its registration with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) for 2026-2027.
This renewal signifies the University's ongoing compliance with NPC Circular No. 2017-01, which regulates how institutions manage and protect personal data. Under Section 4(a) of the circular, registering data processing systems is a primary requirement for organizations to demonstrate full alignment with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
"Keeping this registration active ensures that MSEUF’s data processing systems, including enrollment platforms, student portals, and human resource databases, remain aligned with the Commission’s security standards," stated the Data Protection Officer.
These strict compliance measures cover the handling of academic records for students, financial information for parents, and payroll and employment files for faculty and staff.
To fully implement these transparency mandates on campus, the Data Protection Office will ensure that the University's NPC credentials and Seal of Registration are prominently displayed at the main entrances of its premises, primary transaction hubs, and within all offices where personal data processing occurs. In line with this physical deployment, MSEUF will also integrate the digital Seal of Registration across its official web portals and online privacy notice pages. The Data Protection Office will continue conducting routine system audits and privacy assessments across all departments to maintain these high standards of data security throughout the academic year.
