OFFICE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OF LTO QUEZON LICENSING CENTER

Abstract
The study is entitled Office management practices of LTO Quezon Licensing
Center and it refers to the process of planning, organizing, guiding, communicating,
directing, coordinating and controlling the activities of a group of people who are
working to achieve business objectives efficiently and economically. It is not only
necessary to business organization but also essential to non-business organizations.
This paper aims at assessing the supply management practices of LTO Quezon
Licensing Center directing at what the profile of the respondents are in terms of the
Department, what are the office management practices in LTO Quezon with respect
to the following areas; Roles and Responsibilities; Storing Office Supplies; Assessing
the needs for Office supplies ; Managing Supplies; and; Accountability. The
researcher came up with a checklist to gather the data from the 20 respondents (10
from the licensing and 10 from the registration department) from LTO Lucena. After
the presentation and analysis of data, the researcher foundout that in the terms of Roles and Responsibilities most of the respondents agreed with the descriptions
given. Then in terms of Storing Office supplies, the results showed that majority of the
respondents agreed with the descriptions. In terms of assessing the needs for Office
supplies, the results showed majority of the respondents answered always and
sometimes and few answered rarely. Then in terms of Managing Supplies and
Accountability, the results showed daily and weekly.
