Abstract
This study focused on the awareness of the seafarers which will be used as the parameters in filling insufficiency of knowledge and experience of a seafarer aboard ship. It utilized the descriptive method of research using quantitative approach to ensure the reliability, fairness and quality of answers.
The study was conducted in selected maritime schools in Quezon Province consisted of two school namely MSEUF College of Maritime Education as well as the Inter Global College. There were a total of 20 respondent seafarers who were part of the study. It also included professor seafarers who did perform on the said study. Frequency, weighted mean, ranking and percentile were used in the statistical analysis.
