Abstract

The main topic of the research shall be on the management practice in the document analysis, observation and discussion of data (DOD) as revealed by school heads of Alabat, Perez and Quezon District. The finding concluded that (1) Majority of the teacher respondents are 30 or less years old, are compost of male teacher respondents, are compost of teachers in Head Teacher III and Principal I position, are Masters Degree and have been in the service for 11-15 years. (2) Majority of the respondents agreed that school heads should present data more than once to the evaluating body to ensure thorough analysis of data being presented. (3) Majority of the respondents agreed that school heads should conduct a regular schedule for observation of programs and projects of SBM. (4) Majority of the respondents agreed that school heads should be involve representative from the community for the discussion and presentation of results, be the moderator during the discussion of SBM and highly consider the relationship among indicators where data will be discussed basing from the results of SBM projects and programs. (5) Majority of the respondents stated that it is a problem even if data are sometimes lost or was not submitted on evaluation in the implementation of DOD in terms of data analysis. (6) Majority of the respondents stated that it is a problem even if strength and weaknesses of a program were not properly documented making observation hard to do in the implementation of DOD in terms of observation. (7) Majority of the respondents stated that it is a problem even if presented data during discussion oftentimes are positive results only in the implementation of DOD in terms of discussion. (8) The teacher-respondents’ perceptions on the data analysis in terms of sex, age, rank, and length of experience were found to be significantly different. While perception on observation and discussion in terms of sex, age, rank, and length of experience did not vary which means these demographic variables have a significant effect on their perceptions on data analysis, but have significant effect on their perceptions on observation and discussion. Therefore the researcher recommended that (1) School heads should present data more than once to the evaluating body to ensure thorough analysis of data being presented. (2)School heads should conduct a regular schedule for observation of programs and projects of SBM. (3) School heads should be involve representative from the community for the discussion and presentation of results. (4) School heads should be the moderator during the discussion of SBM and highly consider the relationship among indicators where data will be discussed basing from the results of SBM projects and programs. (5) School heads must continue to ensure that data will not be lost or will not submitted on evaluation in the implementation of data analysis. (6) School heads must continue to ensure that strength and weaknesses of a program will be properly documented making observation easy to do in the implementation of observation. (7) School heads must continue to ensure that presented data during discussion will always be positive results in the implementation of discussion.
