A Prototype Design of Training Skid for EISSS
Area of Research
Abstract
EISSS had skilled manpower issues dealing with the processes of power plant operation and maintenance
for instrumentation and control system. This project study focused on the skill enhancement for our technical personnel
to familiarize with different instruments, processes and control system in power plant.
The researcher had design the training skid for EISSS to demonstrate the actual instruments,
control system and process in power plant for the technical personnel to improved their technical skilled needed by the company.
The researcher created the training skid to increase the competency level of our technical personnel.
The instructor of the training skid should have a technical expertise in the field of process and control system in power plant.
In determining the result of the project on the objectives criteria set by the researcher a survey was piloted.
There were fifteen (15) respondents directly associated with training skid of EISSS assembly,
five of them are in management position and ten are engineers and technicians.
Majority of the respondents answered that the training skid were highly satisfied,
thus obtaining an over-all mean average of 4.8.
