Vocabularia: A 3D Mobile Game Application for English Vocabulary
Abstract
"The purpose of this research is to develop a 3D mobile game that can incorporate English
vocabulary learning and an entertaining gameplay. Inductive approach is a modern way to teach
English vocabulary but there are fallacies present in this approach and students nowadays are more
into technology; they would likely prefer an innovative approach rather than traditional way of
teaching. It is pointed that technology played a major part in education, games can stimulate a
child’s mind, interactive games bring more learning experiences for students. The aspects explored
are educational books and other educational games for developing the content of the project. We
are finding that mobile game-based learning environment can provide edutainment."
