ChemiXperiment: A Mobile Courseware Application – for Chemistry Students

Chemistry is considered as one of the keystones of science. It forms the foundation of the life sciences and the main of every technology that people enjoy today. In this study, a mobile courseware game is made to provide knowledge, enhance skills and give motivation to students. By playing the courseware game, students will also develop their critical and creative thinking skills, it will widen their imagination and will stimulate their curiosity. The game is made especially for chemistry students of all ages who want to learn experiments, can also be used by teachers in teaching students scientific experiment in school and by parents in teaching their kids experiments at home. The data was gathered by distributing 20 copies of evaluation forms to the following respondents: Chemistry Students, Teachers, and Parents. The evaluation showed significant results of strongly agree in all criteria, therefore ChemiXperiment is a helpful learning tool in teaching chemistry experiments, thus providing increase in learners’ interest and motivation.
