Using experimental approach, the researchers evaluated the effectiveness through self –devised questionnaire based on researchers’ readings, the use of examination checklist for skin lesions . The children were treated with malunggay extract for 20 consecutive days twice a day in the morning ( after taking a bath) and in the evening ( before going to sleep). Based on the results, it revealed that among the advantages malunggay extract includes its easy and safe use, cheap and affordable. It does not contain toxic materials and has natural ingredients that enhance quick healing and can be easily prepared. However, it also revealed its disadvantage of easily being spoiled. In terms of treatment, results revealed that the malunggay extract reduces the scabies lesions after twenty (20) consecutive days of application. The popular lesions, vesicles, burrows, crusts and erosions decreased after used and the skin of the children becomes smoother. On the extent of malunggay extract in treating scabies, it revealed that the natural extract of malunggay was able to reduce 70.35% of the scabies lesions compared to the use of sulfur soap with only 64.3% lesions treated after 20 consecutive days of application.
