Camp Sinag: A Feasibility Study

Completed2016

Abstract

Where most people highly recommend urbanization, the farmlands are left behind, slowly limiting the space for agriculture. But there is more to farming than producing crops. Through agri-tourism, we get to preserve the farmlands and rediscover agriculture in another level of business venture. The government is providing the laws to develop it. In Quezon, there is no accredited agri-tourism business. Quezon is known as the food basket in CALABARZON and establishing a farm site in Quezon is highly feasible. Camp Sinag is an agricultural farm site project to be located in Mayao Parada, Lucena City. The project will raise a setting for agricultural development infused with tourism. It is designed to be a venue for trading, unwinding, and learning. Lucena City has a vast land available for farming and they don’t have to travel far to experience it. The target market of Camp Sinag is the population of Lucena City and the travelers visiting Quezon Province. The potential growth extends to nearby municipalities. The initial project cost of putting Camp Sinag is P23, 500,000.00, which will be financed by partners’ contribution and a bank loan
