Abstract

The proposed Health and Wellness Resort is the formulation of a design aesthetic framework that integrates the built and natural environments to promote well-being that leads to a restorative lifestyle. The use of sustainable design into the features of the resort was delivered through the careful positioning of building and facilities for minimum environmental impact. Throughout the design process, an emphasis is given to its site features that are set to be functional and non-critical, of which the maximized use of natural day lighting and ventilation. Cumulative of this design and development is the implementation of standard building requirements that enabled the attainment of the best possible solutions.
