The research utilizes surveys to gather direct insights from seafarers across various positions and industries, examining areas such as the effects of automation on job roles, the effectiveness of training programs for new technologies safety implications, and overall acceptance of technological advancements within the seafaring community. Findings reveal diverse perspectives among seafarers, with some embracing the potential improvements in safety and efficiency brought about by new technologies, while others express concerns regarding job stability and the need for extensive training.
