An E-Learning System in Physics for High School Students

Completed2013

Abstract

An e-learning is a widely used all over the globe in providing useful module in different courses. The proponents will be developing an e-learning web page in physics course in high school. In physics, different formulas needs proof to be able to understand and understood by the students. The system provides different feature that will enhance the knowledge and the capability of the students in physics. These are the features that can access in the system; Physicist Profile, theories and laws, lecture, quiz, grade, and communication portal. The end-users of the system are the 4th and 3rd year student of Quezon National High School – Lucena City. For the student, the system will serve as a guide to improve their knowledge and skills in discovering some theories and laws. For the teacher, the system helps for their lesson and they can use the system as a guide for their lesson. The methodology used in the system is the Object-Oriented Analysis and design (OOAD) consists of progressing object representation, Object Analysis, Object Oriented Design, and Object Oriented Programming. It encompasses four major division of action which generates a system evaluate the system. The functionality of the Proposed System acts as the highest criteria of an accomplishment of application. The reliability of the proposed System upholds in its handling of transaction. The usability of the system, based on the respondents evaluation, the system display information and data are well organize and also well presented. The efficiency of the system derives from what suppose system could offer. It’s efficiency to respond and manage the system. The maintainability of the system detects as a function of proving that the system could test easily. According to the evaluation it is easy to test. The system portability to deploy is which essential to an application. On the system, it is not only easy to test but also to deploy. The application was created using Php Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) connecting to SQL database using XAMPP server.
