Factors Affecting the Job Performance of Police Personnel in Relation to their Job Efficiency

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the factors influencing the job performance of police personnel and their relationship with job efficiency. Using a quantitative approach and a descriptive method, the researchers employed questionnaires as the primary data collection instrument. The survey was conducted with fifty (50) selected Police personnel in Lucena City, Quezon Province, who met the researchers' predetermined criteria. Prior to participation, respondents received a clear explanation of the study's objectives and purpose and were required a clear explanation of the study's objectives and purpose and were required to provide informed consent by signing a consent form. Confidentiality and privacy were strictly maintained, and the data collected was used exclusively for educational purposes. The participants strongly agreed that emotional well-being and mental health play a crucial role in determining job performance. Additionally, they recognized that leadership and management support directly influence the performance of police personnel. Physical fitness and health emerged as the most influential factors, indicating the critical importance of maintaining good health among police officers. Establishing regular feedback mechanisms to assess program effectiveness was recommended. Introduce family-oriented initiatives such as family responsibilities.
