Social Media Usage and the Psychological Well-being of College Students during COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract
This study aims to determine the social media usage and the psychological well-being of college students during covid-19 pandemic. Specifically, this study will measure the social media usage and to determine the psychological well-being of the respondents during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used quantitative research design. specifically a descriptive method. The researcher selects participants using a purposive sampling technique. The participants of this study are those college students from the College of Arts and Sciences of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation with an age ranging from 18 to 23 years old. The findings of the study will be used to create a mnemonics to provide college students a variety of coping techniquest that they could use to mitigate the negative effect of social media on their psychological well-being.
