Abstract

The researcher sought to determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, year level, and course. This research aimed to identify the conflicts encounter in Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) among the college students of Enverga University. The researcher also sought to identify the respondents' perception on computer-mediated communication in terms of their usefulness and relevance, the reliability and quality, as well as efficiency and effectiveness. Also, the researcher identified the conflicts that the respondents encounter in relation to Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC). Having said that, successfully attain the research objectives, the study adopted a descriptive method anbd quantitative approach to gather data on the particular problem in which it os concerned with the existing conditions. The researcher gathered data using an online survey questionnaire that be administer through Google forms. Having said that, a total of one hundred (100) college students under the College of Arts and Sciences from Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation randomly selected. afterwards the data collected be analyze using descriptive and statistical measures particularly simple percentage and weighted mean. This may seem apparent, but technical issues and poor internet connectivity simply add to the frustation of the online environment and disrupt new distance learning sessions. Sometimes your computer may shut down, or your wifi will be sporadic, and poor displays might make it difficult to keep up with your virtual classmates and learning environment. Furthermore, as time passes, people are more inclined to adjust to the new normal Set-up since it can limit the growth of the virus and is more secure that face-to-face communication. Based on the survey questionnaire used by the researcher, computer-mediated communication is effecient and effective.
