Abstract

Since its introduction, sustainability has become the paramount solution to the contemporary issues of the changing world. it is the prime basis in architecture, agriculture, tourism,commerce, and industry, driving the fields into innovation and creativity. These branches, bound by the concept of sustainable development, create a paradigm of the complex but necessary response to social issues and the need for innovative and sustainable architecture. The paper focuses on the synthesis of agriculturre and commerce using sustainable architecture as the driving force for development in related aspects. The Comprehensive Land Use Plan (2013-2022) of Lucena City seeks to promote local agricultural produce and develop the commerce and industry of the city through the improvement of infrastructure and agricultural production support. proposed Mixed- Use Hub for Agricultural Commerce and Trade incorporates sustainable design using social and regenerative architecture, as the center of agricultural commerce in the city, the hub will serve as an intrument to sustain a livelihood, boost economic performance, and encourage community participation (Domingo, 2018) The paper adopts as inquiry methord and data collection from various sources such as journals, academic papers, and government documents. Putting community at the core of architecture leads to an exceptional approach to building design and philosophy, making the site a center of opportunity, tourism, learning, and socialization. Using local materials in the project and renewable energy in farming and commerce is enhanced using technological innovations and effective passive design, giving the site the ability to thrive and regenerate independently.
