A PROPOSED QUEZON EXPO-CENTER FOR TRADE AND EXHIBITION

Completed2023

Abstract

Trade shows and exhibitions are among the most effective and successful strategies for introducing, selling, and promoting products and services (Wu, 2004). Throughout these events, business owners must attract, persuade, and inform visitors through their shows and displays. On the other hand, in addition to exhibiting a wide range of expositions, from auto shows to agricultural exhibits, the Expo-center can host a variety of promotional events, like serving as a learning ground for other attendees and by assisting exhibitors in reaching the right customers. An expo center needs to be functional, easily accessible, and expansive in addition to having a range of rooms (Cailles, 2020). The researcher was directly focused on the planning and designing of the Quezon Expo Center for Trade and Exhibition by incorporating sustainable architecture into the building design and technology. The towns and local municipalities of Quezon Province are the intended primary beneficiaries, in addition to the global and local industrial sectors. The location of the site is part of the commercial land use and tourism sector of Lucena City in the province of Quezon, which will also result to a good economic progression for the other local towns and municipalities in the province. The modern, sustainable design of the project area can attract more learning opportunities, investors, exhibitors, and visitors to come and visit the site. It is also through this architectural design project that the current pandemic problems provided the basis for the goals, objectives, and scope towards the development of a better sustainable design solution that will provide an effective and efficient social environment for all.
