ANGAT TURISMO: A PROPOSED TOURISM BUSINESS CENTER IN MULANAY, QUEZON

Completed2023

Abstract

The Philippines is renowned for having the most breathtaking scenery of any travel destination. (WTO, 2015) Additionally, it offers beauty that is both natural and man-made across the entire country, with each town having a unique destination area that is only found there. Despite possessing stunning scenery, a province may not be able to offer adequate tourist services, such as tourist information centers that can educate visitors on how the industry functions. This issue is related to the notion that there are fewer tourists who desire to visit a location when there are no accommodations or tourism plans. The Municipality of Mulanay in Quezon Province, is an area that has been neglected and with its local government unit having lost its focus in improving its tourist destination. The local government must create measures on how these beautiful tourism spots can continuously promote and publicize it. By using architectural plans and initiatives for local tourism, the study created surroundings for people that will help increase their ties to the natural world and enhance their personal well-being. This strategy includes the incorporation of organic elements and functions of everyday environments and infrastructure. (Habitz, 2021) In this manner, the study aims to establish that tourism must promote a thriving economy and a more environmentally conscious community (Misra, R. P. & Thangamani, K.,2014). This study provides strategic architecture for people and the environment to protect the environment's beauty, life, culture, and wildlife as well as its diversified, rich vegetation, attractive surroundings, and vibrant culture. The design of this facility also enhances the quality of life in the area and will also function as a retreat. It also makes sure that genuine commerce grows to support a strategy for developing tourism that is environmentally responsible.
