Strategies of Grade 6 Teachers in Developing Engagement of Learners in English in Flexible Learning in the Selected Schools in San Narciso, Quezon

The study aims to know the Strategies of Grade 6 Teachers in Developing the Engagement of learners in English in Flexible Learning in the Selected Schools in San Narciso, Quezon. This document would like to answer how they will maintain their Strategies during Flexible Learning. A descriptive research method was used to gather information. The researcher will be used a random sampling procedure which will enable the collection of quantitative data from 30 respondents. It is guided by four research questions. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status length of service in the teaching profession? What are the strategies of grade 6 teachers in developing engagement of students in English in the selected schools in San Narciso Quezon? What are the challenges that grade 6 teachers may encounter in teaching English during flexible learning? What is the level of engagement of students in English in Flexible learning? A research questionnaire was distributed to the respondents to gather data. The study also found out the strategies of grade 6 teachers in developing engagement of learners in English in Selected Schools in San Narciso Quezon. And also expected that the result of the study will identify the strategies of grade 6 teachers that will be used to develop the skills. The majority of the respondents were 25 – 30 years old, the majority of females and 1- 6 years length of service were mostly new teachers. The result was finding out that the level of engagement was very low. Which concluded that the teachers were not yet totally developed in terms of engagement. As a result of the level of engagement, they need to develop and add more techniques to engage the students. To the teachers, since the result of the challenges they may encounter as grade 6 teachers continue to improve. The school heads will continue to provide and support the materials required by teachers for students to learn more effectively.
