Abstract

The researcher focused on the challenges encountered by Grade 4 learners in Mathematics under flexible learning modalities in selected schools in Macalelon Quezon. It was conducted in the schools chosen with students as respondents. The researcher used a printed form distributed to the respondents. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive method and chose a total of 30 respondents. Random sampling is a sampling technique used by the researcher and the schools chosen are found in the Municipality of Macalelon, Quezon. In conclusion, the struggles faced by the student are very challenging then the teacher provides the learning materials that will be used every week. Also to the recommendation, the researcher recommended that the teachers provide the task and apply the strategy to improve the skills and knowledge of the students during this time.
