The Effects of LIB.COM Organization on Developing the Interpersonal Skills of BLIS Students

Abstract
This study aimed to identify and evaluate the effects of LIB.COM Organization
in developing the Interpersonal skills of BLIS Students. Specifically, it sought
answers to the following specific questions: What is the demographic profile of the
member in the organization in terms of age, gender, year level, and position in the
organization; What are the interpersonal skills possessed by an MSEUF, BLIS
students; What is the effect of organizational activity in the development of
student's interpersonal abilities; and what is the physical barrier to communication
affects by the student-member in the participation to organization's activity. The
primary subject of the study is the student who was the beneficiary of developing
interpersonal abilities. This study utilized the descriptive quantitative method of
research, considered the most appropriate design that would give the most valid
answer to the preceding question as the researcher utilized a total enumeration.
The researcher used a survey questionnaire which help to facilitate the gathering
of important information. Results reveal that student-member are responding to
necessary questions and behavior that show good conversation with others, they
frequently comprehend and negotiate with a group of individuals, as well as the
difficulties they encounter in formal written and verbal communication that cause
them to refuse duties and responsibilities. The researcher identified that the
effects of the Lib.Com organization in developing the interpersonal skills of the
Lib.Com members were Lib.Com organization are lacking self-encouragement
and confidence. Refusing positions and responsibilities that lead to a misunderstanding that affects the growth of one another. Members are not
confident with their ability how they deal with other people, especially our
administrator, which creates indirect communication.
