Multimedia Assets for ABPNBMBS? (Aba Pano Ba Mag Basa?) An Interactive Game Animation Used as a Learning Aid
Area of Research
Abstract
Making multimedia assets for an interactive-game animation aims to help learners
in the University Site, with goals of aiding in their reading and writing literacy. Learning
has varying ways of difficulty but with the help of multimedia assets, it can be informative
and innovative in ways of teaching learners to read and write in a modern take. To
overcome the problems of this study, this project was proposed where learning materials
referenced from story books and modules for kids were made digitally for an interactivegame animation where the learning is at the user’s pace easing them into digesting content
within the multimedia assets made for the game. Building the multimedia assets of the
game was made in Blender, Clip Studio Paint, and Adobe Audition before being compiled
in After Effects and Davinci Resolve, which was then imported to the Ren’Py Game
Engine. The evaluation of the multimedia assets using an assessment tool was obtained
through a modified ISO 21001 and 1997 part 11, and gave an average of 4.4 which presents
that the multimedia assets made met the requirements in the criteria set by the ISO standard.
After compiling the findings of the study, the main objectives of the study have been reached by developing and creating Multimedia Assets for ABPNBMBS? (Aba Pano Ba
Mag Basa?) Interactive-Game Animation.
